Girl in the Woods

Protecting
East Hampton's clean water supply since 1987.

Why We Fight

Since the beginning, the organization’s goal has always been to preserve the integrity of the last remaining fresh water aquifer on the East End - The Stony Hill aquifer is located in the Stony Hill and Red Dirt Woods in Amagansett. This natural stretch of land is vital in maintaining the integrity of the water supply of the entire South Fork of Long Island.

We Need You

The ASAP continues to face an uphill battle with the local government of East Hampton and private land developers. The only way to fight is to make your voice heard. Show up for town council meetings, and contact your representatives to voice your concerns about our community. Together, we fight for  a better future for the East End.
